Kathy Feston stopped by The Talk this week to promote her new book, The Lean: A Revolutionary and Simple 30-Day Plan for Healthy, Lasting Weight Loss. Freston brought with her 5 tips to help viewers go vegan.
Freston's tips include switching milk to soy or almond, trying cheese alternatives, losing the cream, eating foods with antioxidants, and eating a big breakfast.
"If you skip breakfast, your metabolism slows way down, by as much as 40 percent," Freston said. "So you want to make sure you have fiber in the morning, because that's going to fill your belly, it's going to make you feel full, and it's going to release the glucose in your system slowly and steadily throughout the day."
