Sunday Baking: Italian Herb Bread

When you bake this bread, your home will fill with the rich aromas of yeast and herbs.  This tasty Italian herb bread is the perfect accompaniment to any meal.  Slice it in half to make a hearty sub sandwich or slather it with garlic butter and pop it in the oven for a savory garlic bread.  You can serve this alongside pasta, lasagna, or even a salad. 

Italian Herb Bread


1 cup warm water (105- 115 degree F)
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried parsley
