Ricki Lake has a Weakness for Carbs

Ricki Lake is a contestant on the current season of Dancing with the Stars and the former talk show host says she is hoping to pull a Kirstie Alley and lose a ton of weight.

"Every part of my body hurts. ... When I went in for a costume fitting, I've lost 8 ½ inches. Three inches in my waist. Three in my hips. Over an inch in my thighs and another inch and a half on my arms. It's crazy," Lake said.

Her current diet plan includes oatmeal or an egg white vegetable omelet for breakfast, chicken and gazpacho for lunch and a turkey meatloaf, salad and "a bit of mashed potatoes" for dinner. Every once in a while, Lake will indulge in a couple of low-fat chocolate chip cookies or a glass of wine. But it's the carbs she's having a hard time staying away from.

"My weakness is bread," Lake said. "That is absolutely the hardest thing to give up. Pizza is my favorite."

Dancing with the Stars premiered last night on ABC.
