It started as just one of those ordinary days at the Superior Discount Liquor in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Then, out of nowhere, a 78-foot section of shelving gave way and sent 6,810 bottles of wine and champagne to the ground. Two employees quickly scurried out of the way as the store became flooded with broken bottles and wine.
Bottles on the shelf ranged from $3.99 to $149.99. Apparently the shelf had been in use since the store moved in 31 years ago. There were no injuries and the store didn't even close.
