Sunday Supper: Salsa Verde Steak Sandwiches

Salsa verde steak sandwiches from Taste and Tell are a satisfying Sunday supper.  Thin slices of flank steak are paired with a homemade salsa verde and Monterey jack cheese in a hoagie roll.  You can purchase salsa verde in a can but the flavors are far less superior then if you make it yourself.  I like to add sauteed onions and peppers to my sandwich for an extra layer of flavor.  Serve this sandwich with Mexican fries (French fries tossed in taco seasoning) and a margarita.
