Chocolate Popcorn Cakes

2-3 bags of microwave popcorn
Bag of Magic stars
Bag of Galaxy counters (*drool*)
1 + 1/2 packets of oreos (crushed)
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of butter
16oz bag of Marshmallows
Butter/Oil for greasing tin

Stick the popcorn in the microwave and get it popped. I have used lots of different brands but the most buttery one is always the best option. I know, calories blah blah blah. But we're making a cake out of marshmallows, chocolate and popcorn.. We're going down, we might as well do it in style.
Empty 2 bags of the popcorn into a bowl and pick out any unpopped kernels. Trust me, this is not something you want to bite into and it can ruin the whole cake. Pick them ALL out!
Wait for popcorn to cool down and then add the magic stars, counters and 1/2 a packet of crushed oreos. Mix thouroughly.
Grease a cake pan of some description. I use a silicone bunt cake tin. (Is it still a cake tin if it's made of silicone?). Make sure it's well greased as the mixture can be very sticky.
Mix one packet of oreos in a bowl whilst adding a little bit of the milk at a time until you have a smooth paste. Now melt the butter in a pan and add the marshmallows. Stir until it has all melted and it is a delicious gloop. Now add the oreo paste and stir briskly until combined.
Now pour the delicious marshmallowy oreo gloop over the popcorn mix and stir thoroughly. Once mixed, pour into the greased tin and press down firmly. It's kind of like making rice crispie squares. You need to press it down as much as you can to get it packed really densely. This is where the 3rd bag of popcorn might come in handy, you might need to add extra popcorn to the mix. When I made it, it was too wet (probably due to adding to much milk to the oreos). If you have the same problem, add more popcorn to the mixture. It should be gooey, but not wet.
Once satisfied, place the tin in the fridge for at least one hour to set. When ready for deliciousness, pop it out onto a plate (it should come out relatively easy, if not, try loosening it with a knife around the edges).
Pour a glass of milk (or wine..), cut a slice, and enjoy.

A chocolate popcorn cake? Yes, I did sell my soul to the devil for the recipe. It's ok, he has cake.
