Classic Flag Cake
2 Pound Cakes
2 Containers Strawberries
2 Containers Blueberries
2 Containers Whipped Topping
Mix together half of the strawberries and blueberries to create the filling.
Cut a pound cake into 1/2" slices and cover bottom of pan
Spread blueberry and strawberry mixture over cake slices.
Spread whipped topping over fruit.
Cut additional slices of pound cake and place on top.
Spread whipped topping over pound cake like you were frosting a cake.
Use left over strawberries and blueberries to create the flag design on top.
The classic flag cake is a family staple every year for the 4th of July. Most of us know about it and do it ourselves, but for those who don't, here's a quick how-to to make your own delicious (and fairly nutritious) flag cake this year!
